Finding strength by focusing on the light.

Sybil’s recording career was interrupted by intensive hospital treatment, but music, drawing and painting remained important ways to keep creating. Trauma-informed mentoring at Key Changes helped her rebuild confidence and rediscover the joy of performing.

“I was able to see the good side of things, and I was able to get stronger by focusing on the light.”

The Dark Rider

A turning point through music.

With roots in underground music and peer support work, The Dark Rider returned to writing during a period of detention under the Mental Health Act. Joining Key Changes in 2025 became a turning point in both wellbeing and creative development.

Music became a route back to creative identity—and towards a debut release.
